"Who is the national pride for us? Do we know our outstanding figures in the world of art, history, culture, science? What do we know of people, whose biographies are tightly connected with our reality?".

This is the slogan of "We are Armenians" TV Project website, launched on October 13, where have been already proposed many names of eminent Armenians. On October 20 the first stage of the project came to its end and currently we have got the list which contains 128 famous names.

First stage results surprised us in several aspects. There were disappointments, as many glorious people got few or even no votes, remaining out of this interesting process.

In other cases it was very surprising, when we saw the activeness of people, who participate in voting as well as more and more visitors daily. It was also very pleasant to see different suggestions by our visitors, together with their opinions and remarks. We would like to mention the suggestion of one of our visitors to divide the figures according to the areas of their activities. His electronic nickname is also fantastic one – “We are Also Armenians”.

Regardless of presence or absence of our answers, we ensure You that all your messages will be analyzed in details and taken into consideration during the designing of upcoming analogous projects after the above mentioned TV Project.

You can also participate in this process, as this website will be available after the end of the project, too and our communication can be continued. But all this will be later, and now let us focus on current project which has entered its second stage.

Second Stage

Third stage - TV

The discussions will begin around 12 candidates-winners in the broadcast of TV Company. This stage consists of 13 programs.

The programs will be performed by Arthur Bakhtamyan.

On December 3, later each Thursday, at 22:00 the program will be launched on HAY TV with the participation of 12 experts.

Each of the programs will be devoted to one of the elected leaders who will be presented by the expert.

The project will be televised on Public Television (sputnik) channel, too.

The experts and audience will have the opportunity to discuss the issue, as their evaluation in the history may not coincide. In addition, audience will see a TV movie about the hero of this program. The same format will be applied for the remaining 11 heroes. The voting will be continued beginning with the TV Program Launch, too, but the format will be different: each candidate can get only one vote daily.

During the final 13th program experts will discuss and summarize the results of public discussion, SMS and internet voting results, after which the name of the winning figure will be announced.

From now on You are the decision maker for “We” and “Armenian”.
